Floppy looks as if he¡¯s in one of those moods where he wants to play. His front legs are down and his tail is wagging, and if he can¡¯t find anyone to play with, he¡¯ll race everywhere as fast as he can. Let¡¯s see if what he¡¯s up to in this story, called Floppy Floppy.

[Narrator]: Floppy was full of energy. He raced round the garden. He ran in and out of the house. He charged across the flower bed and jumped over the wall. Biff was holding a tray of cups. She almost dropped them as Floppy hurtled past. ¡®Oh Floppy!¡¯ said Biff, as he rushed past them. Kipper laughed. ¡®I think he¡¯s gone crazy,¡¯ he said.

[Narrator]: Biff, Chip and Kipper were having a little picnic with Mum outside on the grass. It wasn¡¯t a big picnic – just some drinks and a biscuit or two. Floppy heard Chip tearing open the wrapping on the biscuits. He rushed across and skidded to a stop. Then, he crouched down and looked at Chip. ¡®Look at him,¡¯ laughed Mum. ¡®I know what he¡¯d say if he could talk.¡¯ ¡®Well, he can¡¯t have a biscuit,¡¯ said Chip. ¡®It¡¯s not good to spoil dogs by giving them biscuits.¡¯ Floppy gave a little bark. ¡®No Floppy!¡¯ he said. ¡®You can¡¯t have a biscuit.¡¯

[Narrator]: Dad saw the others outside, so he came out to join them on the rug. He had made a plate of sandwiches. Floppy ran up with a bone in his mouth. He put the bone down and started to dig a hole in the lawn. ¡®He wants to bury his bone,¡¯ said Kipper. Dirt began to fly all over the rug. ¡®Oh Floppy! said Dad. ¡®Stop it. Go and bury your bone somewhere else in the garden.¡¯

[Narrator]: ¡®I don¡¯t know,¡¯ said Mum. ¡®Floppy is in such a funny mood. He hasn¡¯t stopped rushing about all day.¡¯ Suddenly there was a miaow and a bark. Floppy had seen the cat from next door and he began to chase it. The cat ran across the lawn and shot over the rug where everyone was sitting. ¡®No Floppy!¡¯ shouted Mum, but it was too late. Floppy charged after the cat and leaped over the rug. ¡®Oh you crazy dog,¡¯ said Dad.

¡®³­ ¸ô¶ó¿ä,¡¯ ¾ö¸¶°¡ ¸»Çß¾î¿ä. ¡®Ç÷ÎÇÇ´Â Á¤¸» ½ÅÀÌ ³­ °Å °°¾Æ¿ä. ÇÏ·ç Á¾ÀÏ ¶Ù¾î´Ù´Ï´Â °É ¸ØÃßÁö ¾Ê³×¿ä.¡¯ °©ÀÚ±â ¾ß¿Ë ¼Ò¸®¿Í ¸Û¸Û ÇÏ´Â ¼Ò¸®°¡ µé·Á¿Ô¿©¿ä. [Narrator]: It was the end of a busy day for Floppy. He was worn out with all the chasing about he had done. He lay down on the grass and went fast asleep. ¡®Just look at him,¡¯ said Dad. ¡®One minute he¡¯s all over the place, the next he¡¯s out like a light.¡¯ ¡®I love the way he just flops down and goes to sleep,¡¯ said Chip. ¡®No wonder he¡¯s called Floppy.¡¯ ¡®Yes,¡¯ agreed Biff. ¡®Floppy Floppy.¡¯
