What’s this story about? (어떤 이야기 일까요?)
Kipper looks at the family through different things. Biff and Chip join in. At the end we see everyone in a differently shaped frame.
(키퍼는 여러 가지 물건들을 통해서 가족들을 봅니다. 비프와 칩도 이에 동참합니다. 마지막에 우리는 모두가 서로 다른 모양의 틀에 있는 것을 볼 수 있습니다. )
Talk together (함께 얘기 해봐요)
Talk about what you can see when you look through a small space.
(여러분이 좁은 공간을 통해 볼 때 무엇을 볼 수 있는지 이야기해보세요.)
Read the story (이야기를 읽어보세요)
W = Word recognition (단어인지) C = Language comprehension (언어이해)
C: Look at the cover. Ask, “What is Kipper doing?”
(겉표지를 보세요. “키퍼는 무엇을 하고 있니?” 하고 물어보세요.)
W: Page 1 to 3, talk about the use of ‘I’ to show that Kipper is talking.
(1-3쪽, 주어 ‘I’를 이용하여 키퍼가 말하고 있음을 나타내는 점에 대해 이야기해보세요.)
W:Pages 3, ask children to say the letter sounds in ‘and’ (‘a-n-d’).

Step
1.On page 8 ask the children, “What did Kipper use to see Chip?”

2.Find the picture to check the answer.
(그림을 보고 답이 맞는지 확인하세요.)
3.Swap roles.
(역할을 바꾸세요.)
4.Have two or three turns each.
(각자 두 번 또는 세 번씩 돌아가며 게임을 하세요.)

* Make a pair of play binoculars by taping two cardboard tubes together. Ask children to describe what they can see.

* Make a ‘photo’ album with pictures and names of friends and pet. Read the picture book together, saying ‘I can see…’.
