| Stage 1. Get Dad- More First Words A
* What’s this story about? 무슨 이야기일까요?
One hot day, Dad chases the children, and soaks them. Mum sees that Dad manages to stay dry, so she empties a bucket of water on him.
어느 무더운 날, 아빠는 아이들을 쫓아다니면서 아이들에게 물을 뿌립니다. 엄마는 아빠 혼자 계속 젖지 않은 채로 있자 아빠에게 물이 든 양동이를 붓습니다.
* Talk together. 함께 이야기 해보세요
Look at the front cover together. Ask, “When is it good fun to get soaking wet?”
함께 겉 표지를 보세요. 그리고 “언제 물에 흠뻑 젖는 것이 재미있을까?” 라고 물어보세요.
* Read the story. 이야기를 읽어봅시다
○W = Word recognition (단어인지)
○C= Language comprehension (언어이해)
○C Ask, “What is Dad doing?”
“아빠는 무엇을 하고 있니?” 하고 물어보세요.
○W Ask children to find the words ‘go’, ‘on’, and ‘get’ in the text.
아이들에게 본문 글에서 단어 ‘go’, ‘on’, ‘get’을 찾아보라고 하세요.
○C Pages 5, ask children to find Mum in the picture. Ask, “What do you think she will do?”
5쪽, 아이들에게 그림에서 엄마를 찾아보라고 하세요. 그리고 “엄마가 무슨 행동을 할 것 같니?” 라고 물어보세요.
* Play a game. 게임을 해봅시다.
Go or get -To help spelling.
이 게임은 철자쓰기를 도와줍니다.
Step
1. Write ‘go’, ‘get’, ‘Go’ and ‘Get’ three times each, so you have 12 word cards.
단어 ‘go’, ‘get’, ‘Go’, ‘Get’을 각각 세 번씩 써서 통틀어 12장의 단어 카드를 만드세요.
2. Turn the cards face down on the floor.
단어 카드들을 바닥에 보이지 않게 뒤집어서 놓으세요.
3. Take turns to turn over a card and read it. Keep the cards that are read correctly; return the cards that are read incorrectly.
차례대로 돌아가며 카드를 한 장씩 뒤집어서 읽으세요. 올바르게 읽은 카드들은 보관하고, 틀리게 읽은 카드들은 되돌려 놓으세요.
4. Continue until all the cards have been picked up.
모든 카드들을 다 집을 때까지 반복하세요.

Play a hiding and fetching game. Hide something and ask a child to go and find it. Then it is their turn to hide something.

Use plastic letters to make three-letter words. Use letter sounds to read the words that are made.
