What’s this story about? (어떤 이야기 일까요?)
Kipper and Mum take the bus into town, but they get off, leaving Teddy on the seat. Kipper is very upset. Their only hope to find Teddy is at the Lost Property office.
키퍼와 엄마가 동네에 버스를 타고 오네요, 그런데 그들이 자리 위에 테디를 놓고 내리네요. 키퍼는 많이 슬퍼요. 단지 그들의 바람은 분실물 보관소에서 테디를 찾는 거에요.
Talk together (함께 얘기 해봐요)
Read the title on the cover and talk about the picture. Ask, “What do you think might happen?” Talk about single-decker and double decker buses. Has the child been on either? Talk about what happened.
표지의 제목을 읽고 그림에 대해서 얘기 해보세요. 무슨 일이 일어날 것 같니? 라고 물어보세요 단층 버스와 이층버스에 대해 얘기해보세요. 아이가 둘 중 하나라도 타본 적이 있나요? 무슨 일이 있었는지 얘기해 보세요.
Read the story (이야기를 읽어보세요)
W = Word recognition (단어인지) C = Language comprehension (언어이해)
C: Page 1, look at Mum and Kipper getting off the bus. Ask, “Why do you think they forgot Teddy?”
1쪽, 엄마와 키퍼가 버스에서 내리는 것을 보세요. "왜 그들은 테디를 잊어버렸던 것일까?" 하고 물어보세요.
C: Page 2, ask, “How can you tell that Kipper suddenly remembered him?”
2쪽, "어떻게 키퍼가 갑자기 그를 기억해 내었을까?" 하고 물어보세요.
C: Pages 4 and 5, talk about Kipper at bedtime. Ask, “What are Biff and Chip trying to do?” Encourage the child to say what Kipper was thinking.
4,5쪽에 키퍼의 잠자는 시간에 대해 얘기해봐요. 비프와 칩은 무엇을 하려 합니까? 키퍼가 무슨 생각을 하고 있었는지 말하게 유도해 주세요.
W: Page 6, ask the child to point to any letters he/she recognises and to name them.
6쪽 아이에게 글자를 가리키게 하시고, 아이가 인지하고 그것들의 이름을 말해보라고 하세요.
C: Explain what is a Lost Property Office. Look the pictures and notice what else has been lost. Ask, “What do you think Kipper said? What do you think Mum said to the lady?”
분실물 보관소가 무엇인지 설명해 주세요. 사진을 보시고 잃어버린 다른 물건들을 보세요. “키퍼가 뭐라고 했을까요? 숙녀분에게 뭐라고 엄마가 했을까요?” 하고 물어보세요

단어들의 시작하는 소리를 인지하는 것을 도와주기
Using the picture of the Lost Property office on pages 6 and 7, talk about and name all the things that have been lost.
6,7쪽의 분실물 보관소의 그림을 이용해서 지금까지 잃어버린 모든 물건들에 대해서 얘기해 보세요.
Take turns to say “I spy with my little eye, something beginning with…” The other person names objects in the picture beginning with that letter sound.
돌아가면서 이렇게 말하세요 ““난 내 작은 눈으로 조사를 해요, 다른 무언가가 …으로 시작하는 것을” 다른 사람이 그림에 있는 아이가 말한 글자로 시작되는 물건들의 이름을 댑니다.
Have two or three turns each. Turn to another page for more things to guess.
