Why do you think the children are excited? Yes, they¡¯re going to they new swimming pool. Mum is taking Biff, chip and Kipper, and she¡¯s taking Wilma and Wilf,too.

Soon the children were in the pool. Kipper took a little longer than the others to get in, because he had to wait for Mum to blow up his arm bands.

Biff and Chip, and Wilf and Wilma waited for Kipper in the shallow end of the pool ¡®Come on, Kipper,¡¯ called Wilma.

Kipper didn¡¯t like putting his face in the water, so he sort of hopped over to Wilma, pretending to swim. He kept one leg on the bottom to make sure he didn¡¯t sink.

The children liked the new swimming pool. All though the day it had different sessions. Sometimes only the grown-ups were allowed in the pool.
¾ÆÀ̵éÀº »õ ¼ö¿µÀåÀ» ¸¾¿¡ µé¾î Çß¾î¿ä. ±×³¯ ´Ù¸¥ ¼¼¼ÇÀ¸·Î ÁøÇàµÇ¾ú¾îµµ ¸»ÀÌÁÒ. ¾î¶²¶§´Â ¾î¸¥µé¸¸ÀÌ Ç®Àå¿¡ µé¾î°¥ ¼ö ÀÖ¾ú¾î¿ä.

That was so they could swim up and down.
µû¶ó¼­ ±×µéÀº À̸®Àú¸® ¿Ô´Ù°¬´ÙÇÏ¸ç ¼ö¿µÀ» ÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ¾ú¾î¿ä.

Sometimes only mums and toddlers were allowed in. That meant the toddlers didn¡¯t get frightened by bigger children or grown-ups splashing them. But now it was the fun session.

The fun session had big inflatables to play with.

One of the inflatables was a big fat duck. It had a net over its back, but it was difficult to climb on because it tipped over easily.

Wilma hung on to the net. The duck wobbled and swayed a little bit, but it didn¡¯t tip over.

¡®Go on Wilf. Get on,¡¯ said Wilma. Wilf grabbed the net and Wilma learned over to stop the duck tipping towards him.

Then , very carefully, Wilf climbed on.

Chip was next. He swam over to the duck and grabbed hold of the net.

Wilf and Wilma leaned over to stop the duck tipping towards him. ¡®Get on,¡¯ said Wilf, excitedly.
Wilf¿Í Wilma°¡ ¸öÀ» ±¸ºÎ·Á ¿À¸®°¡ ChipÂÊÀ¸·Î ³Ñ¾î°¡Áö ¾Ê°Ô Çß¾î¿ä. ¡®Å¸¡¯ Wilf°¡ ½ÅÀ̳ª¼­ ¸»Çß¾î¿ä.

Chip climbed on. He climbed on very carefully because the big, fat duck wobbled and swayed a little bit &ChipÀÌ ¿Ã¶óÅÀ¾î¿ä. Å« ¶×¶×ÇÑ ¿À¸®°¡ Èçµé°Å·Á¼­ ±×´Â ¸Å¿ì Á¶½É½º·´°Ô ÅÀÁö¸¸ ³Ñ¾îÁöÁö´Â ¾Ê¾Ò¾î¿ä.

¡®Whooooops!¡¯ said Chip in a wobbly voice. He didn¡¯t feel very safe on the duck. He felt it might tip over at any time.
¡®À¸¾Æ¾Ç~!!¡¯ ChipÀÌ ºÒ¾ÈÇÑ ¼Ò¸®¸¦ ³Â¾î¿ä. ±×´Â ¿À¸® À§¿¡ ¾ÈÀüÇÏ°Ô ¾ÉÁö ¸øÇß¾î¿ä. ±×´Â ÀÚÄ©ÇÏ¸é ¶³¾îÁú¼öµµ ÀÖ´Ù°í »ý°¢Çß¾î¿ä.

Kipper waved and laughed. He thought this was much more fun than swimming.

Biff was next. She went over to the big, fat duck and grabbed the net, but the duck tilted and tipped.

¡®Whoooops!¡¯ shouted Chip, Wilma and Wilf. ¡®We almost tipped over that time.¡¯

Biff tried again, and, the two boys grabbed her arms. ¡®Get on,¡¯ said Chip and this time, with Wilf and Chip¡¯s help, Biff climbed on.

Well, it was Kipper¡¯s turn next. Everyone knew that he would find it hard to climb on the big, fat duck because he was the smallest.

Kipper hopped over to the duck. The children treid to tip the duck towards Kipper so that they could help him up. ¡®Get on,¡¯ said Biff.
Kipper´Â ±øÃæ±øÃæ ¶Ù¾î¼­ ¿À¸®ÂÊÀ¸·Î ¿Ô¾î¿ä. ¾ÆÀ̵éÀº ¿À¸®¸¦ KipperÂÊÀ¸·Î ±â¿ï¿© ±×°¡ Ÿ´Â °ÍÀ» µµ¿ÍÁÖ·Á°í Çß¾î¿ä. ¡®Å¸¡¯ Biff°¡ ¸»Çß¾î¿ä.

The duck tilted towards Kipper. ¡®Whoooooops!¡¯ said everyone.
¿À¸®°¡ KipperÂÊÀ¸·Î ±â¿ï¿´¾î¿ä. ¡®À¸¾Æ¾Ç~!!¡¯ ¸ðµÎ°¡ ¸»Çß¾î¿ä.

¡®Come on Kipper,¡¯ yelled Chip.
¡®»¡¸®, Kipper.' ChipÀÌ ¼Ò¸®Ãƾî¿ä.

Kipper stretched up his arms and jumped as high as he could. But Kipper couldn¡¯t get on. No matter how hard he tried.

¡®Get on,¡¯ said everyone.
¡®Å¸¡¯ ¸ðµÎ°¡ ¸»Çß¾î¿ä.

But the water was quite deep, and when Kipper tried to stretch up he began to sink.
±×·¯³ª ¹°Àº ²Ï ±í¾ú°í Kipper°¡ ¼ÕÀ» »¸ÀÚ, ¹°¿¡ °¡¶ó¾É±â ½ÃÀÛÇß¾î¿ä.

¡®Oh!¡¯ wailed Kipper. ¡®you¡¯re not leaning down far enough.¡¯
¡®¿À¡¯ Kipper°¡ ¼Ò¸®Ãƾî¿ä. ¡®ÃæºÐÈ÷ ¾Æ·¡·Î ³»·Á¿ÀÁö ¾Ê¾ÒÀÚ³ª.¡¯

¡®Come on,¡¯ called everyone, but Kipper couldn¡¯t get on.
¡®¼­µÑ·¯.¡¯ ¾ÆÀ̵éÀÌ ¿ÜÃƾî¿ä. ±×·¯³ª Kipper´Â °¥ ¼ö ¾ø¾ú¾î¿ä.

Kipper jumped and splashed. The duck began to wobble and Kipper¡¯s face got wet.

Suddenly Wilma managed to grab Kipper¡¯s arm. ¡®I¡¯ve got him,¡¯ she laughed.
±×¶§, Wilma°¡ KipperÀÇ ÆÈÀ» Àâ¾Ò¾î¿ä. ¡®Àâ¾Ò¾î.¡¯ ±×³à°¡ ¿ô¾ú¾î¿ä.

¡®Now keep the duck steady and let¡¯s all pull him up.¡¯
¡®ÀÌÁ¦ ¿À¸®¸¦ °íÁ¤½ÃÅ°°í ±×¸¦ ²ø¾î¿Ã¸®ÀÚ.¡¯

¡®Get on,¡¯ said everyone, as they pulled Kipper out of the water.
¡®Å¸.¡¯ ¸ðµÎ°¡ ±×¸¦ ¹°¹ÛÀ¸·Î ²ø¾î³»¸é¼­ ¸»Çß¾î¿ä.

¡®Hooray!¡¯ called Mum as Kipper climbed on.
¡®¾ßÈ£~!¡¯ Kipper°¡ ¿Ã¶ó¿ÀÀÚ ¾ö¸¶°¡ ¿ÜÃƾî¿ä.

The duck wobbled and swayed as Kipper scrambled up the net.
¿À¸®´Â Kipper°¡ ±×¹°À» ±â¾î¿À¸®ÀÚ Èçµé°Å·È¾î¿ä.

¡®Whoooooops! Keep it steady,¡¯ called Wilma. ¡®We don¡¯t want to fall in now.¡¯
¡®À¸¾Æ¾Ç~!! ¿À¸®¸¦ °íÁ¤½ÃÄÑ.¡¯ Wilma°¡ ¿ÜÃƾî¿ä. ¡®Áö±Ý ³Ñ¾îÁö°í ½ÍÁø ¾ÊÀ¸´Ï±î.¡¯

Then there was a lot of shaking and wobbling. The duck swayed from side to side.
±×¸®°í´Â ¿À¸®´Â Å©°Ô Èçµé·È¾î¿ä. ¿À¸®´Â ÀÌÂÊÀúÂÊÀ¸·Î ±â¿ì¶×Çß¾î¿ä.

¡®Oh no!¡¯ shouted everyone. Suddenly, over went the duck, and everyone slid off into the water.
¡®¿À, ¾ÈµÅ!¡¯ ¸ðµÎ°¡ ¿ÜÃƾî¿ä. °©ÀÚ±â, ¿À¸®°¡ ³Ñ¾îÁö¸é¼­ ¸ðµÎ°¡ ¹°¿¡ ºüÁ³¾î¿ä.

The splash was so big that nearly everyone in the pool got splashed. No one minded though, it had been such a funny sight.
¹°ÀÌ ¾ó¸¶³ª ¸¹ÀÌ Æ¢°å´ÂÁö Ç®Àå¾È¿¡ ÀÖ´Â °ÅÀÇ ¸ðµç »ç¶÷¿¡°Ô Æ¢°å¾î¿ä. ¾Æ¹«µµ ½Å°æ¾²Áö ¾Ê¾ÒÁö¸¸, ¸Å¿ì Àç¹Õ´Â ±¤°æÀÌ¿´¾î¿ä.

Kipper was the first to come out from behind the duck. He had a big smile on his face. ¡®Can we do that again?¡¯ he asked Mum.
