* Cover/Introduction
What game are these two teams running out to play? One team is wearing red. The other is wearing blue. Can you guess what the teams are called?(Point to the title.) Yes!
Reds and Blues. Can you guess what this story is going to be about?
어떤 경기를 하려고 이 두 팀이 뛰어나가나요? 한 팀은 빨간색을 입었고요, 다른 팀은 파란색을 입었어요. 각 팀을 뭐라고 부르는지 알 수 있나요?(제목을 가리켜보세요) 맞아요! 빨간팀과 파란팀이예요. 이 이야기가 무엇에 관한 이야기일지 알 수 있나요?

Hooray! Here are the reds! Can you guess who is the team captain? Yes, it's Chip.
야호! 빨간팀이예요. 누가 이 팀의 주장일까요? 맞아요, Chip이예요.
Chip is looking pleased with himself. It's because he's wearing his favourite team strip- a red top, white shorts, and red socks with a white stripe.
Chip는 스스로 만족스러워 보이네요. 왜냐면 가장 좋아하는 팀 옷을 입었거든요.- 빨간 셔츠, 하얀 반바지, 빨간색과 흰색 줄무늬 양말.
'We are all in red,' said Chip, and he made up a special rhyme about his team. Here it is :

Hooray! Here are the blues. They are not playing yet. They are warming up before the game.

Biff is the team captain. 'Pass the ball to me,'she called, running forward to trap it.

'We are all in blue,' said Biff, and she made up a special rhyme about her team. Here it is :

The game began! What a fast game it was! The ball went from player to player.
경기가 시작됐어요. 빠른 경기네요! 이 선수에서 저 선수로 공이 전달되네요.
'Come on the reds!' shouted some of the grown-ups on the touchline.
‘빨간팀, 힘내~!’ 경기장 밖에서 어른들이 소리쳤어요.
'Come on the blues!' shouted the other grown-ups.
‘파란팀, 힘내~!’ 다른 어른들이 소리쳤어요.
The reds had the ball.
빨간팀이 공을 잡았어요.
'Shoot!'shouted Chip.
‘슛~!!’ Chip이 소리쳤어요.
'Oh dear,' thought Chip's and Biff's Mum. 'The football pitch is very soft and soggy. Look how
muddy some of them are getting! And who has to wash all the team strips? I do!'
‘오, 저런,’ Chip과 Biff의 엄마는 생각했어요.
‘축구장이 질퍽거리네. 진흙범벅이 된 아이들을 봐! 누가 이 옷을 다 빨아야하지? 나지!’

The game began to get exciting. Suddenly, Biff scored a goal. Wilma headed the ball.
경기는 더 재밌어졌어요. 갑자기, Wilma가 공을 해딩해줘서 Biff가 골을 넣었습니다.
It was going wide of the goal. Biff did a back-flip and got her toe to the ball.
It sailed over the goalie's head into the goal.
하지만 빗나갔어요. Biff가 공중제비돌기를 했고 공이 발가락에 맞았어요.
그리고는 골키퍼 머리 위로 날아가 골인했어요.
'Hooray!' shouted the blues.
‘야호~!’ 파란팀이 소리쳤어요.
'Oh no!' thought Biff's Mum. 'Everything is getting so muddy.
It is even hard to tell which colour they are wearing. Who is in red? Who is in blue?
‘오, 저런’ Biff의 엄마는 생각했어요. ‘모두가 진흙범벅이군.
이제 누가 어떤 색을 입었는지 구별하기도 힘들겠는걸. 누가 빨간팀이고 누가 파란팀이지?’
Oh dear. Poor Mum will have a lot of washing to do!
불쌍한 엄마, 엄청난 양의 빨래를 해야겠네요.

By the end of the game, it was almost impossible to see who was wearing red and who was wearing blue.
But still, it was a good game and everyone enjoyed it.
경기가 끝날 때쯤, 누가 빨간색을 입었고 누가 파란색을 입었는지 알아보기 거의 불가능했어요.
하지만 여전히, 재밌는 경기였고 모두 즐거워했어요.
Which team won? Was it the reds or blues? It was the blues. They won by one goal to nil.

'That was good fun,'said Chip, 'even if we are all muddy. I wonder what Mum will do?
She has to wash all these strips,'

엄마가 이 옷들을 다 빨아야 하는데’
'That's easy,' laughed Biff. 'She'll get Dad to do it.'
‘그건 쉽지’ Biff가 웃으며 말했어요. ‘아빠보고 하라고 하실꺼야.’
