This is Kipper's Diary. Do you know what a diary is?
It's when you write down each day what you did or what happened to you.
이것은 Kipper의 일기예요. 일기가 무엇인지 아나요? 매일 무슨 일이 일어났거나 했을 때 쓰는 거예요.
Kipper decided to keep his diary every day for a whole week.
'When I grow up,' he said, 'I might keep a diary every day for a whole year.'
Kipper는 일주일동안 일기를 매일매일 쓰기로 했답니다.
‘내가 컸을 때,’ 그가 말했어요. ‘어쩌면 일년동안 매일 일기를 쓸 지도 몰라.’

Kipper spent a long time on each page of his diary. He did a picture every day. Look at the day.
It says 'Monday'
Kipper는 일기 각 장에 많은 시간을 쏟았어요. 매일 그림을 그렸어요. ‘월요일’이라고 써있는 날을 보세요.
Who has Kipper drawn in his picture? Isn't it a good picture of Floppy! But what else has Kipper drawn? He's drawn the rain. On Monday it rained, so Kipper wrote : 'It was a wet day.'

How can you tell that it was windy? Kipper and his teddy are almost being blown away.

Kpper and his Mum went shopping, so Kipper wrote: 'I went to the shops.'
이 그림에서 Kipper는 자신과 엄마를 그렸어요. 쇼핑을 갔네요. 그래서 Kipper는 이렇게 적었어요 : ‘가게에 갔다.’

The weather was quite different on Wednesday. The sun came out and it shone all day,
so Dad took Biff, Chip and Kipper to the outdoor swimming pool. They had a lovely time in the water.
화요일에는 날씨가 조금 틀리네요. 해가 하루 종일 떴어요.
그래서 아빠는 Biff, Chip, Kipper를 데리고 야외 수영장에 갔어요. 물 속에서 아주 즐거운 시간을 보냈답니다.
Kipper wrote: 'Wednesday- It was a sunny day. I went to the pool.'
In this picture he has drawn himself on a big inflatable.
Kipper는 이렇게 썼어요 : ‘수요일 - 햇빛이 났다. 수영장에 갔다.’

Thursday was an even hotter day than Wednesday. The sun blazed in the sky.
목요일은 수요일보다 더 더웠어요. 태양이 하늘에서 타오르고 있었어요.
Kipper and his Dad took Floppy for a walk in the park. Floppy chased round and round.
His pink tongue hung out as he panted with the heat.
Kipper와 아빠는 Floppy를 데리고 공원에 산책을 갔어요. Floppy는 돌고 돌았어요. 더워 헐떡거리며 혀를 내놓고 있네요.
'Floppy! You silly dog,' laughed Dad. 'Slow down! It is too hot to race around.'
‘Floppy, 이 어리석은 개.’ 아빠가 웃으며 말했어요. ‘천천히 가! 뛰기엔 너무 덥단 말이야.’
That day Kipper wrote 'Thursday- It was a hot day. I went to the park.'
그날 Kipper는 이렇게 적었어요. ‘목요일 - 매우 더웠다. 공원에 갔다.’

Friday was a really good day. Mum and Dad took the children to the fair.
Kipper went on a roundabout ride and this is how he drew it in his diary.
금요일은 아주 좋은날이예요. 엄마, 아빠가 아이들을 데리고 놀이동산에 갔거든요.
Kipper는 회전목마를 탔고 이것을 일기에 그렸어요.
He wrote : 'Friday - It was a fun day.'
그는 이렇게 썼어요 - 아주 재밌는 날이였다.
