Kipper was far too busy to play with Floppy.
He was sitting at his little table in the kitchen drawing a picture, when Floppy bounded in with a ball in his jaws.
Kipper는 Floppy와 놀기에는 너무나 바쁩니다. Floppy가 입에 공을 물고 왔을 때 Chip은 부엌에 있는 그의 작은 탁자에서 그림을 그리고 있었어요.
At first, Kipper didn't even notice the dog, until Floppy panted and put his pay on the table.
처음에 Kipper는 Floppy가 헐떡거리며 발을 탁자에 올려놓을 때까지 옆에 와있는지도 몰랐어요.
'Go away, Floppy,' said Kipper. 'I'm drawing.'
‘저리가, Floppy!' Kipper가 말했어요.’나 그림 그리는 중이란 말야.‘

Biff and Chip were far too busy to play with Floppy.
They were skipping with their friends, Wilf and Wilma. Floppy bounded up with a ball in his jaws.
Biff와 Chip도 Floppy와 놀기에는 너무나 바빠요. Wilf, Wilma와 줄넘기를 하고 있거든요. Floppy가 입에 공을 물고 왔어요.
Wilf was skipping and chanting a rhyme.
Wilf는 줄넘기를 하며 노래를 하네요
'I want coffee, I want tea.
I want Biff to skip with me'
‘커피 마시고 싶어, 차 마시고 싶어.
Biff가 나와 함께 줄넘기를 했으면 좋겠어.‘
When he sang that, Biff jumped in and began to skip too. At first, they didn't even notice Floppy.
But when Floppy wagged his tail and barked, Chip said 'Go away, Floppy. We are skipping.'
그가 이 노래를 부르자 Biff도 들어와 함께 뛰지 시작했어요. 처음에 모두들 Floppy가 와있는지도 몰랐어요. 그러나 Floppy가 꼬리를 흔들며 짖어대자, Chip은 ‘저리가, Floppy. 우리 줄넘기 하자나.’

엄마, 아빠도 Floppy와 놀기에는 너무 바빠요. 엄마, 아빠는 주차장 문을 색칠하고 있어요.
Floppy bounded up with a ball in his jaws.
Floppy가 공을 물고 왔어요.
At first they didn't even notice him, but then he stuck his nose in the can of paint and made it all yellow.
처음에는 엄마, 아빠도 Floppy가 온지 몰랐어요. 그러나 Floppy가 페인트 통에 코를 넣어 노랗게 만들자 알았어요.
'Go away Floppy,' said Mum. 'We are painting.' Dad said, 'Lookt at that paint on your nose.
‘저리가, Floppy' 엄마가 말했어요. ’우리 페인트칠하고 있자나.‘ 아빠가 말했어요. ’네 코에 묻은 페인트를 보렴.
It's a good job you are a yellow dog!'
노란 개가 되가 되었구나.‘

Poor old Floppy. No one wanted to play with him.
불쌍한 Floppy. 아무도 놀아주지 않네요.
Floppy left his ball on the grass and put on a sorrowful expression.
Floppy는 공을 풀밭에 내려놓고는 슬픔에 잠긴 표정이네요.
Then he sadly walked away.'I'll go and play by myself in the park,' he thought, miserably.
그리고는 슬프게 걸어갔어요. ‘공원에서 혼자 놀꺼야.’ 그는 초라하게 생각했어요.
'Perhaps they will think that I'm leaving home for good.'
‘어쩌면 그들은 내가 더 좋은 것을 위해 집을 떠난다고 생각할지도 몰라.’
Mum and Dad saw him go. So did the others. They felt sorry that they hadn't played with him.
엄마, 아빠는 그가 가는 것을 보았어요. 다른 사람들도요. 모두 함께 놀아주지 않은 것이 미안해졌어요.
'Come back, Floppy,' called Dad. 'Floppy, come back,' called Biff.
‘이리와, Floppy' 아빠가 불렀어요. ’Floppy, 돌아와‘ Biff가 불렀어요.

Chip fetched a bone, and Kipper found his old rubber rabbit.
Chip은 뼈다귀를, Kipper는 그의 오래된 고무 토끼를 가져왔어요.
Then they all made a fuss of Floppy.
그리고는 모두 야단스럽게 Floppy를 치켜세웠어요.
'We are sorry, Floppy,' said Kipper.
‘우리 모두 미안해, Floppy.' Kipper가 말했어요.
Of course, Floppy can't speak, but he went 'Grr! Gerrough! Woof!'
당연히 Floppy는 말하지 못하지만 이렇게 짖었어요. ‘으르렁, 멍멍!’
I wonder what that means!
