have you ever been on the beach at the seaside? Did you have fun at the beach? Mum and Dad have taken Biff, Chip and Kipper to the beach to have some fun. This beach has a pier on it. Have you ever been on a pier?
The children hadn¡¯t, so that¡¯s where they went first.

It was fun on the pier. The pier went right out to sea.

The children could look down and see people on the sand below them.

There were lots of things to do on the pier.

There was a man putting his head through a board. ¡®What¡¯s he doing?¡¯ asked Chip.

Dad and Mum smiled. ¡®we¡¯ll show you,¡¯ said Dad.

Further down the pier was another board. Two funny men were painted on it.

There was a Hall of Mirrors on the pier. This is where the family went next.

Every mirror was a different shape so that when you looked in it, it made you into an odd shape too.

Kipper , Biff and Dad looked into one mirror.

Biff and Dad looked very tall and their heads looked long. Kipper¡¯s head looked wide and fat.
Biff¿Í ¾Æºü´Â Å°°¡ ¸Å¿ì Å©°í ¸Ó¸®°¡ ±æÂßÇß¾î¿ä. KipperÀÇ ¸Ó¸®´Â ³Ð°í ¶×¶×ÇØ º¸¿©¿ä.

Mum, Chip and Floppy looked into another mirror. It made them look a really funny shape.

¡®I look all bent,¡¯ said Mum. ¡®I¡¯m glad we don¡¯t look like this in real life.¡¯

The children wanted to have a go.

Chip, Biff and Kipper bounced up and down. Dad and Floppy watched.
Chip, Biff, Kipper´Â À§, ¾Æ·¡·Î ¶Ù¾ú¾î¿ä. ¾Æºü¿Í Floppy´Â ¹Ù¶óº¸¾Ò´ä´Ï´Ù.

¡®It¡¯s fun,¡¯ said Biff, ¡®But it¡¯s hard work, doing all this bouncing.¡¯

Floppy began to pull on his lead. ¡®He wants to go for a fun,¡¯ said Dad.

Oh no! Look what happened when they let Floppy go for a run.

He rushed down the beach and got covered in mud. He ran back to Dad looking really please with himself.

¡®Oh Floppy!¡¯ said Dad. ¡®Look at the state of you. We¡¯ve go to take you home in the car.¡¯
¡®¿À, Floppy!'¾Æºü°¡ ¸»Çß¾î¿ä, ¡¯³× ¸ð½ÀÀ» Á» ºÁ. ³Î Â÷¿¡ Å¿ì°í Áý¿¡ °¡¾ßÇÑ´Ü ¸»À̾ߡ®

¡®Well don¡¯t let him sit in the back with us,¡¯ said Biff.
