The creatures on the cover of this book are called dolphins.
Ã¥ÀÇ Ç¥Áö¿¡ ±×·ÁÁ® ÀÖ´Â µ¿¹°Àº µ¹°í·¡¿¹¿ä.
In face they¡¯re called ¡®bottle-nosed¡¯ dolphins.

Dolphins are very clever creatures.
µ¹°í·¡´Â ¸Å¿ì ¿µ¸®ÇÑ µ¿¹°ÀÌ¿¹¿ä.
They speak to each other.
±×µéÀº ¼­·Î À̾߱âÇØ¿ä.
But they don¡¯t use words like we do. Instead, they make noises.
ÇÏÁö¸¸ ¿ì¸®°¡ ¾²´Â ¾ð¾î¸¦ »ç¿ëÇÏÁö´Â ¾Ê¾Æ¿ä. ´ë½Å, ±×µéÀº ¼Ò¸®¸¦ ¸¸µé¾î¿ä.
Dolphins are very friendly animals. They lover to make friends withe people, and they love to play.

These dolphins used to live in a pool in a wildlife park.

Every day theire trainer came to practise new tricks, or to play withe them.

But then people realised it was unfair to keep them in captivity so there are no longer any dolphinariums in the U.K.

Now there dolphins lover in the sea but they still like to play and swim with people.

One day, Wilf and Wilma went to a dolphin pool. John, the dolphin trainer, was a friend of theirs.

¡®Yes please,¡¯ said Wilf and Wilma.

¡®Well then,¡¯ said John. ¡®You¡¯d better say ¡®Hello¡¯ to them.¡¯

He blew his whistle and almost at once the dolphins came up out of the water and skimmed backwards along the surface on their tails.

¡¯Now for one of Dee and Bimbo¡¯s favourite games.¡¯ said John, and he threw a ball into the water.

The dolphins played with the ball. They pushed it along with their noses. They flicked it up into the air.

John gave Wilma a big red hoop.

He told her to climb up the ladder that was over the pool and hold the hoop out over the water.
±×´Â Wilma¿¡°Ô Ç®Àå À§¿¡ ÀÖ´Â »ç´Ù¸®¸¦ Ÿ°í ¿Ã¶ó°¡ ¹° À§·Î ÈǶó¿ìÇÁ¸¦ ³»¹Ð¾îº¸¶ó°í Çß¾î¿ä.
Wilma climbed up the ladder. She held out the hoop. Then John blew his whistle.

A moment later the dolphins went ot the end of the pool. They swam very quickly.

Then a dolphin jumped through the hoop.

Wilma thought she would get wet, but the dolphin dived into the wate with hardly a splash.

It was full of fish.

As soon as the dolphins saw this they came up to the edge of the pool and put their heads out of the water.

¡®Yes, they will,¡¯ laughed John. ¡®So they¡¯ll go through to a special little pool on the side.¡¯
¡®±×·²²¨¾ß.¡¯ JohnÀÌ ¿ô¾ú¾î¿ä. ¡®±×·¡¼­ ±×µéÀº ÇÑÂÊ¿¡ Àִ Ưº°ÇÑ ÀÛÀº Ç®ÀåÀ¸·Î °¥ °ÍÀ̶õ´Ù.¡¯
¡®That¡¯s good,¡¯ said Wilma.
¡®ÀߵƱº¿ä.¡¯ Wilma°¡ ¸»Çß¾î¿ä.
They looked at the killer-whale and they could hardly believe their eyes. The killer-whale was big.

John put hte dolphins safely in the small pool.
JohnÀº µ¹°í·¡µéÀ» ÀÛÀº Ç®Àå¿¡ ¾ÈÀüÇÏ°Ô º¸³Â¾î¿ä.
Then he opened an iron door and the killer-whale swam into the big pool.
±×¸®°í´Â ö¹®À» ¿­ÀÚ ¹ø°í·¡°¡ Å« Ç®ÀåÀ¸·Î ¼ö¿µÇØ µé¾î¿Ô¾î¿ä.
¡®It¡¯s huge. It¡¯s enormous,¡¯ said Wilma.¡®It¡¯s gigantic. It¡¯s tremendous,¡¯ said Wilf.
¡®Å©´Ù. ¾öû Å©´Ù.¡¯ Wilf°¡ ¸»Çß¾î¿ä.
The killer-whale swam to the edge of the pool. Then it raised its enormous head above the water and looked at Wilf.
¹ü°í·¡´Â Ç®ÀåÀÇ ³¡À¸·Î ¼ö¿µÇØ ¿Ô¾î¿ä. ±×¸®°í´Â ±× Å« ¸Ó¸®¸¦¹° ¹ÛÀ¸·Î ³»¹Ð°í Wilf¸¦ ¹Ù¶óºÃ¾î¿ä.
¡®Look at its big teeth!¡¯ exclaimed Wilf.
¡®Àú Å« ÀÌ»¡Á» ºÁ.¡¯ Wilf°¡ ¼Ò¸®Ãƾî¿ä.
¡®You can give it some fish,¡¯ said John.
¡®¹°°í±â¸¦ ¸î ¸¶¸® ÁÖ·Å.¡¯ JohnÀÌ ¸»Çß¾î¿ä.
So Wilma gave it some fish.

John climbed up on to the ladder that leaned out over the pool. He had a fish in his hand.
JohnÀº »ç´Ù¸®¿¡ ¿Ã¶ó°¡ Ç®ÀåÂÊÀ¸·Î ¸öÀ» ±â¿ï¿´¾î¿ä. ±×ÀÇ ¼Õ¿¡´Â ¹°°í±â°¡ µé·ÁÀÖ¾ú¾î¿ä.
¡®The killer-whale is going to jump for the fish,¡¯ he called. ¡®Look out for the splash!¡¯
¡®ÀÌÁ¦ ¹ü°í·¡°¡ ¹°°í±â¸¦ ¸ÔÀ¸·Á°í Á¡ÇÁ¸¦ ÇÒ²¨¾ß.¡¯ ±×°¡ ¿ÜÃƾî¿ä. ¡®¹°ÀÌ Æ¢±â´Ï Á¶½ÉÇÏ·Å!¡¯
Suddenly the killer-whale jumped up out of the water. It took the fish.
