Lots and lots of families own a dog. Maybe there¡¯s a dog in your family. Well, Biff, Chip, and Kipper have a dog. Perhaps you¡¯ve seen him already in another story.
This book tells how the family wanted a dog and how they went to the dogs¡¯ home to get one.

Kipper wanted a dog. He wanted one more than anything else in the world.

He used to sit and look at pictures of dogs in a big book and imagine what it would be like to have a real dog of his own.

One day, Biff, Chip and Kipper and their Mum and Dad were having tea. ¡®It would be nice to have a dog,¡¯ said Mum.

They went inside the dogs¡¯ home. They looked at the dogs.
