Biff spent ages making an aeroplane. Mum helped her a little bit. When the aeroplane was finished. Biff was really proud of it. Everyone went to the park to watch Biff fly her aeroplane but things didn¡¯t go as planned¡¦.

Biff had wanted a model aeroplane ever since she saw a programme about them on tlelvision. She saved up all her pocket money and when she had enough to buy one, Mum took her to a modle shop and Biff bought her first model.

¡®I want to try and make it all by myself,¡¯ said Biff. She took the kit out and spread the bits and pieces all over the kitchen table.

She glued all the bits and pieces together carefully and by the end of the afternoon Biff and made an aeroplane.

In the end, Mum helped her because it was quite tricky to paint the aeroplane and Biff didn¡¯t want to spoil it.

Mum suggested that they paint red tips on the wings and put red tips on the tail pieces.

Biff wanted a red stripe along the body, and that was the hardest of all to do.
Biff´Â ¸ö¿¡ »¡°£ ÁÙ¹«´Ì¸¦ ±×¸®°í ½Í¾úÁö¸¸ ±×°ÍÀº ¸Å¿ì ¾î·Á¿ü¾î¿ä..

Biff carefully painted B1 on the tail fin. ¡®The B stands for Biff and the 1 means it¡¯s my first model,¡¯ she said.

When it was finished, the aeroplane looked good.

The model aeroplane was the sort that you could fly. It had a hook which Biff fixed underneath the nose, and in the kit, was a very long, very strong elastic band.

Although Biff wanted to fly it she didn¡¯t think the back garden was a good place. ¡®I need a big, open space,¡¯ she said. So, in the end, she went to the park.

¡®We want to see it fly as well,¡¯ said Chip, and everyone went along with Biff to watch.

¡®Stand by! Stand by!¡¯ announced Biff as she pulled the elastic tighter and tighter.
"¿µÂ÷.¿µÂ÷.."Biff°¡ ¼Ò¸®¸¦ Áö¸£¸é¼­ ź·ÂÀÖ´Â ¹êµå¸¦ Á¶ÀÌ°í Á¶¿´¾î¿ä..

¡®Biff One Airlines requests that all passengers fasten their seatbelts.¡¯
"Biff 1 ºñÇà±â¿¡¼­ ¿äûÇÕ´Ï´Ù. ¸ðµç ž½Â°´µéÀº ¾ÈÀüº§Æ®¸¦ ¸Å¾î ÁÖ¼¼¿ä.."

She felt quite nervous as she pulled back the elastic as far as it would stretch. Then she let go. The elastic pinged, and the aeroplane flew up into the air.
Biff´Â ¹êµå¸¦ µÚ·Î ²÷¾îÁú Á¤µµ·Î ´ç±â¸é¼­ ±äÀåÇß¾î¿ä..±×¸®°ï ±×°ÍÀ» ³õ¾ÒÁö¿ä..¹êµå°¡ ÇÎ!!¼Ò¸®¸¦ ³»¸ç ºñÇà±â°¡ °øÁßÀ¸·Î ³¯¾Æ°¬¾î¿ä..

¡®Wow!¡¯ exclaimed Kipper. ¡®It goes like a bird.¡¯
"¿Í¿ì~~!!"Kipper°¡ ź¼ºÀ» Áú·¶¾î¿ä. "¸¶Ä¡ »õ°°Àº°É~~!!"

The aeroplane did seem like a bird. It went higher and higher. Then it leveled out and flew across the park.
ºñÇà±â´Â ¸¶Ä¡ »õ°°ÀÌ º¸¿´¾î¿ä. ³ôÀÌ ³ôÀÌ ³¯¾Æ°¬Áö¿ä..±×¸®°ï ÆòźÇÏ°Ô °ø¿øÀ» °¡·ÎÁú·¯ ³¯¾Æ°¬Áö¿ä..

¡®Oh no!¡¯ said Biff. ¡®It¡¯s not going to land in the park. It¡¯s going to fly for miles.¡¯
"¾ÈµÅ~~!!"Biff°¡ ¼Ò¸®Ãƾî¿ä. "°ø¿ø ¶¥À¸·Î ³¯¾Æ°¡Áö ¾Ê°í ¸Ö¸® ³¯¾Æ°¡°í ÀÖ¾î.."

Everyone ran after it. ¡®Catch it, someone!¡± yelled Biff. But it was no good.
¸ðµÎµé ºñÇà±â¸¦ ÂѾư¬¾î¿ä. "´©±¸µç ºñÇà±â¸¦ Àâ¾Æ¿ä!!" Biff°¡ ¼Ò¸®Ãƾî¿ä. ±×·¯³ª ±×·¸Áö ¸øÇß¾î¿ä.

The wind seemed to catch it and carry it up and up. It went over the trees, and flew out of sight.

the aeroplane flew on, but the wind that had lifted it so high suddenly dropped and the aeroplane leveled out. It went over the houses in the street where Biff and Chip lived.

It circled round and round in the air, getting lower and lower.
ºñÇà±â´Â °øÁß¿¡¼­ ¿øÀ» ±×¸®¸é¼­ ¾Æ·¡·Î ¾Æ·¡·Î Á¡Á¡ ¶³¾îÁ³¾î¿ä.

Back in the park , Biff could hardly believe it. She had put so much work into making her very first aeroplane, and within a few seconds, it had gone.

¡®It flew across the park towards the road,¡¯ shouted Chip.
"ºñÇà±â°¡ °ø¿øÀ» Áö³ª ±æ°¡·Î ³¯¾Æ°¬¾î..!!"ChipÀÌ ¸»Çß¾î¿ä.

¡®Come on, everyone. Run! Maybe we can see where it lands,¡¯
"¸ðµÎ À̸®¿Í..´Þ·Á!!¾î¼¸é ¾îµðÀÖ´ÂÁö ãÀ» ¼ö ÀÖÀ» Áö ¸ô¶ó~~!!"

But even though they ran and ran, they couldn¡¯t see where the aeroplane had gone.

Biff looked for the aeroplane in the long grass and among trees that went along the edge of the park. Everyone helped.

¡®Well,¡¯ said Mum, after they had searched and searched, ¡®I really don¡¯t think it can be in the park. Maybe it flew a lot farther than we thought.¡¯

¡®Perhaps it went into somebody¡¯s garden,¡¯ said Chip. ¡®It seemed to be heading towards out street.¡¯
"¾î¼¸é ´©±º°¡ÀÇ Á¤¿øÀ¸·Î ³¯¾Æ°¬À» Áöµµ ¸ô¶ó¿ä.."ChipÀÌ ¸»Çß¾î¿ä.."ºñÇà±â°¡ ¿ì¸® °ñ¸ñÀ¸·Î ³¯¾Æ°¡´Â °ÍÀ» ºÃ¾î¿ä.."

¡®I hope it hasn¡¯t been smashed, or run over by a car,¡¯ said Biff.
"ºñÇà±â°¡ ºÎ½¤Áö°Å³ª Â÷¿¡ ½Ç·Á ¸Ö¸® °¡Áö ¾Ê¾Ò±æ ¹Ù·¡.." Biff°¡ ¸»Çß¾î¿ä.

They went back home, then Dad and Mum went to all the neighbours and asked if they could look in their gardens in case the plane had landed there.

¡®No luck so far,¡¯ said Dad. ¡®but we won¡¯t give up. I¡¯ll ask everyone in the next street. Someone¡¯s sure to have seen it.¡¯ But they hadn¡¯t.
"¿îÀÌ ¾ø´Â°É..±×·¸Áö¸¸ Æ÷±âÇÏÁö ¸»¾Æ¶ó..³»°¡ ´ÙÀ½ °ñ¸ñÀÇ ¸ðµç Áýµé¿¡°Ô ¹°¾îº¼²²..´©±º°¡°¡ ºÐ¸íÈ÷ °¡Áö°í ÀÖÀ»°Å¾ß,," ¾Æºü°¡ ¸»Çß½À´Ï´Ù. ±×·¯³ª ±×µéÀº ±×·¸Áö ¾Ê¾Ò¾î¿ä..

Biff looked and looked. She looked for the aeroplane in every place she could think of.
Biff´Â ã°í ¶Ç ã¾Ò¾î¿ä. Biff´Â »ý°¢³ª´Â ¸ðµç °÷¿¡ ºñÇà±â¸¦ ãÀ¸·¯ ´Ù³æ¾î¿ä.

She looked over the fence into the next-door neighbours¡¯ gardens and she searched the piece of rough ground opposite the house, but it was no good. She couldn¡¯t find it.
´ãÀ» ³Ê¸Ó ÀÌ¿ôÁý Á¤¿øµµ º¸¾Ò°í Áý ¹Ý´ëÆí¿¡ °ÅÄ¥Àº µµ·Îµµ º¸¾Ò¾î¿ä. ±×·¯³ª ¾ø¾ú´ä´Ï´Ù. Biff´Â ºñÇà±â¸¦ ãÀ» ¼ö ¾ø¾ú¾î¿ä.

¡®I¡¯ve been to enough houses for everyone in this part of town to know about it.¡¯ ¡®I don¡¯t think I¡¯ll every see it again,¡¯ said Biff.
