[Narrator1]: One day, Biff, Chip and Kipper went to a picnic with Wilma’s family.
(어느 날, 비프, 칩 그리고 키퍼가 윌마의 가족들과 함께 소풍을 갔어요.)
[Dad]: Bye~! (잘 다녀와!)
[Mum]: Have fun! (재미있게 놀다 와!) (Biff, Chip and Kipper 웃는소리)
[Narrator1]: While the children were gone, Mum and Dad planned to make scarecrows. Mum brought out the children’s old clothes and shoes. (아이들이 소풍을 간 동안 엄마와 아빠는 허수아비를 만들기로 했어요.)
[Dad]: Help me, please. (좀 도와줘요.) (아빠 끙끙대는 소리+ 엄마 흥얼거리는 소리, 새들이 지저귀는 소리+ 커다란 스테플러 나무기둥에 박는 소리 및 뚝딱뚝딱 소리)
[Narrator1]: Mum made the hair and dad dressed the scarecrows. (엄마는 머리카락을 만들고 아빠는 허수아비들에게 옷을 입혔어요.)
[Mum]: Let’s make Kipper. (키퍼를 만들어 봐요.) (엄마, 아빠 흥얼거리는 소리+ 풀밭에서 왔다 갔다 하는 소리+ 나무기둥에 지푸라기 채워서 옷 입히는 소리+ 새들 지저귀고 푸드덕거리는 소리)
[Narrator1]: They made Biff, Chip and Kipper. Finally, the children came back! (그들은 비프, 칩 그리고 키퍼를 만들었어요. 드디어 아이들이 집으로 돌아왔어요!)
[Mum and Dad]: Ta-da! (짜~잔!)
[Narrator1]: The children were surprised. (아이들은 깜짝 놀랐어요.)
[Chip]: Wow! (와우!)
[Biff] That’s me! (이건 나야!)
[Kipper]: That’s me! (저건 나야!) (키퍼 웃는 소리)
[Narrator1]: (배경음악+ 새소리) It was night, and everyone went to bed. (저녁 시간이 되었고 모두들 잠자리에 들었어요.) There were lots of birds in the neighborhood, but Kipper’s house was safe! (이웃집에는 많은 새들이 있었지만 키퍼의 집은 안전했어요!)

[Narrator2]: Let’s review the story together! (함께 이야기를 검토해 봅시다!)
[Narrator2]: Please answer the following questions. (다음에 나오는 질문들에 맞는 답변을 해주세요.)
[Narrator2]: Look at pages 2 and 3. What are Dad and Mum going to make? (띵동, 2 sec pause) They are going to make scarecrows. (2쪽과 3쪽을 봐주세요. 아빠와 엄마는 무엇을 만들고 있는 중입니까? 그들은 허수아비들을 만드는 중이었습니다.)
[Narrator2]: Why is Mum holding the children’s trousers? Because Mum wants to dress the scarecrows as Biff, Chip and Kipper. (엄마는 왜 아이들의 바지들을 잡고 있었습니까? 왜냐하면 엄마는 비프, 칩 그리고 키퍼처럼 허수아비들을 만들기 원했기 때문입니다.)
